expenses

Overtime pay will be requested for any employee in excess of 40 hours in any week unless they are a live-in caregiver.

Holiday pay rates are one-and-one-half times the hourly rate indicated above for an employee who works on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Good Friday, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas.

In addition to the above, any necessary and reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred by or its employees will be reimbursed by the care manager. For any transportation (such as errands, driving you to a physician’s appointment, etc.) provided by our employee, the client will be required to pay an additional per mile charge of seventy-five cents $.75.

Changing Rates

These rates are based upon the initial assessment and may be changed periodically by Hand to Hand Homecare. If Hand to Hand Homecare determines a rate change is necessary, the care manager will be notified at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to assessing the new rates or fees.

Our prices include bonding, workers’ compensation, and professional liability insurance. We pay all taxes required by the IRS.

Payees may be required to leave a credit/debit card on file and/or a deposit upon the start date of services.
